The objective of the training is to introduce personnel to water treatment projects. This will help them to find out about the operation, equipment maintenance and workings, and processes of the water treatment plants and wastewater treatment facilities.

During the first day, the theory of engineering processes and technologies for waste, potable and desalination plants will be explained. The following day will be dedicated to those people who have been more involved with DITA activities, and aspects of civil engineering; electrical and control equipment; purchasing, quality and start-up will be taught, amongst others. All this will be done from a working perspective, explaining challenges and how problems have been solved based on previous experience.

The third day will involve a visit to the drinking water treatment station and the water treatment plant at Salamanca, facilities that the company has designed and constructed.
